Noise Aircraft - Do not override any conditions relating to the operation of your aircraft set out under any Acts, Regulations, Orders or other instructions administered by Airservices Australia, the Civil Aviation Safety Authority or federal or other relevant state authorities (for example, curfew restrictions).
The Regulations specify the following types/categories of aircraft as exempt and therefore these aircraft do not require a noise assessment or certificate:

This is a method of compliance available to aircraft operating in air navigation in Australia only through Section 12 (Received)
And is the most common method of compliance. Most aircraft owners in Australia meet the regulations through Section 12, as their aircraft have an existing international noise certificate. For aircraft intending to perform international air navigation, a stealth path is not appropriate.

Any aircraft that is not exempted under the Air Navigation (Aircraft Noise) Regulations 2018 must carry a noise certificate (under Section 11 of the Regulations) on board at all times – either in the form of an Australian noise certificate or evidence that the aircraft has been deemed, through international noise certification.

Not. We are only able to carry out assessments for aircraft registered in Australia, in accordance with ICAO Annex 16, Volume I, II-1-1.4.

If your aircraft has an existing international noise certification, although you do not intend to fly to a curfew airport, you are required to confirm that the aircraft is rated or apply for an Australian noise certificate.
The Australian Noise Certificate is generally accepted as evidence of compliance with ICAO Annex 16 Volume I and is therefore recommended for aircraft engaged in international air navigation.
Note - While ICAO, Annex 16, Volume I, II-1.1.8 specifies "Contracting States shall recognize as valid a noise certificate issued by another Contracting State provided that the requirements under which such certificate is granted are less than the applicable Standards." as stated in this Annex” this does not guarantee acceptance by foreign countries. Under the Air Navigation (Aircraft Noise) Regulations 2018, aircraft are exempt because of the way they are operated. Because we do not know or control how you operate your aircraft, we cannot issue a certificate for it.
